Woo Hoo! You've found the new RC-Submarines.net!

Me, Tim Smalley, with my scratch built H.L. Hunley.
Unless you accidentally stumbled onto this site while surfing for a place to buy a sub sandwich for lunch, you must be interested in radio controlled (RC) model submarines. Congratulations! I hope I can help guide you towards your final decision to jump into this fascinating pastime. I call this site "Woo Hoo, etc." because that's what I said out loud when I first discovered my first RC sub website on the relatively new Internet in the 1990s.

Please note that I don't sell anything here and I don't endorse any products. When you buy sub products - it's buyer beware! If you are considering buying an RC sub I suggest you go to the SubComittee message boards and ask your pals about who to trust!

If you want to know where you can buy one ready-made, I suggest you check the Sub Swap message board on the SubCommittee website or eBay. RC Boat Guide has a sub listing if you are looking for ready to run subs.

I remember how frustrating it was trying to find information, finding out about kits and parts and so on. I hope to help by providing a few answers to what seem to be universal questions that many beginning model submariners seem to have.

After you have viewed the whole site, please drop me an e–mail message at
TMSmalley@yahoo.com to let me know what you think and what else you would like to see on this web site. So close the hatch, check the Christmas tree for a green board, and prepare to...
